Your therapy at PT Plus will be hands on - using the right equipment for your treatment, after personal evaluations by our therapists.
While some equipment is specialized, such as our NeuroCom Balance Master (www.onbalance.com), used during Balance and Vestibular Training evaluation and monitoring. This computerized device allows us to test our balance patients under a variety of conditions that help us to identify particular weaknesses in a person's balance recovery strategy. We can also perform functional impairment testing on the NeuroCom Balance Master and compare the results to normative data.
The use of standarized exercise equipment during therapy facilitates the opportunity for patients to exercise between appointments; at a gym, for instance.
Many exercises can be done at home, with or without simple equipment.
